I read the first book in the Texas Crossroads series At Bluebonnet Lake and I loved it. So, when the chance came up for me to read the In Firefly Valley I jumped at the chance. If you’ve read the first book you will be excited to return to Rainbow’s End. This novel was just as good as book one. It’s a super light fun read. The characters are delightful and are of different ages and backgrounds. The rural setting is also presented in both positive and negative lights. While it isn’t necessary to read At Bluebonnet Lake first, I recommended reading it since it introduces the characters and the Rainbow Lake resort. In Firefly Valley also has the subtle lesson that while many things in life are permissible, they’re not always edifying. I totally recommend reading this novel! I can’t wait to see what Cabot has in store for readers next.
I received this book free from the publisher through the Revell bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
