Drinkable Tasty Treats!

This Holiday, while chilling out at home, I found some great treats!

Maybe, some of these are already in your recipe box or maybe these are just what you were looking for. Either way I wanted to share my finds with y’all!

1.) Berry Delicious

1/2 cup of mixed berries

1/2 cup of strawberry flavored yogurt

1/4 Banana (Sliced)

1/4 Cup Of Milk

1/8 teaspoon sugar (Optional)

In a blender, combine the mixed berries, strawberry yogurt, banana, milk and sugar. Cover, and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

2.) Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

3/4 Cup of Milk

1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

3 tablespoons of Sugar

3 tablespoons of Mocha flavored instant coffee mix *

1 cup crushed ice

In a blender , combine milk, vanilla, sugar, coffee powder and crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

*Different flavors of instant coffee could be used depending on your preferences.

3.) Berry Vanilla Sensation

1/2 Cup frozen unsweetened raspberries

1/2 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries

3/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice

1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt

In a blender, combine raspberries, strawberries, pineapple juice and yogurt. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve

4.) Melon Smoothie

1/8 cantaloupe  (peeled, seeded and cubed)

1/8 honeydew melon – peeled, seeded and cubed

1/4 lime (juiced)

1-1/2 teaspoons sugar

In a blender, combine cantaloupe, honeydew, lime juice and sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

5.) Caramel Candy Bar Smoothie 

1/2 cup whole milk

1 scoop rich chocolate ice cream

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

2 tbsp. semisweet chocolate chips chopped, toasted unsalted

1 tbsp. butterscotch sauce; plus extra for decoration

peanuts or almonds to decorate (Optional)

In a blender, combine milk, chocolate, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce. Blend until smooth Pour into a glass, then stir in the chocolate chips.

Top off with the remaining vanilla ice cream and drizzle over plenty of butterscotch sauce. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
