Interesting, but useless bits of knowledge that you could most definitely survive without.
1.) A dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
Now I want to know who took the time to count them? Did they suddenly wake up and decided to count the ridges on a dime.
2.) A hippo can open its mouth wide enough to fit a 4 foot tall child inside.
Social services may need to be contacted if your child is anywhere near a hippos mouth.
3.) All porcupines float in water.
Are these alive or dead? Who is going around tossing porcupines into water?
4.) An average person laughs about 15 times a day.
Note the use of the word average. I know people who cover this within the morning only.
So… I’m guessing I’m not an average laugher.
5.) Dolphins sleep with one eye open.
How much sleep can you really get while sleeping with one eye open? Are they worried that something is going to sneak up on them?
